Behind the design

The print on the back is the height profile of the English Garden, with the Isar curving along the side and tiny figures running, cycling, and swimming their way through it. Three sports, one map, the whole heart of the club, on a tee. Worn here by Laura, Michelle, Yi, Kosuke, Alessio and Mirthe on a regular Sunday in the park, the same crew you'd meet at any training. Size up if you're between sizes (they won't shrink, promise).

How do I join Run and Chill?+
Just show up. There is no signup, no membership, no fee. Locations and times for all four weekly sessions are on the schedule page. Most new members come to the Sunday 09:30 Social Run at Cotidiano Stiglmaierplatz first. Bring water, bring a layer for after, and say hi.
Where does Run and Chill meet in Munich?+
Four weekly meeting points across Munich. Monday 19:30 at Olympiabad for the Swim Hangout. Wednesday 18:45 at PSV München for intervals. Thursday 18:30 at DAV München-Nord in Fröttmaning for the Trail Lab. Sunday 09:30 at Cotidiano Stiglmaierplatz for the long Social Run. Once a month on a Saturday morning, a 50km Bike & Chill from Perlacher Forst Nord.
How much does it cost?+
Nothing. Run and Chill is free. There is no membership fee, no signup fee, no per-session charge. Optional merch is sold separately, but no purchase is required to train with the club.
Do I need to be fast?+
No. Run and Chill is a consistency challenge, not a race. The leaderboard ranks how often people show up, not how fast they run. Members range from absolute beginners to sub-three-hour marathoners. Sessions have pace groups when needed.
Can I join if I don't speak German?+
Yes. Sessions run in English and German. The community is international, with members from across Europe, North America, and Asia. English is the default language in most WhatsApp groups.
How many people typically show up?+
Around 30 to 40 at Sunday Social Runs, 20 to 30 at Wednesday intervals, around 10 at the Monday swim, and 5 to 10 at Thursday Trail Lab and the monthly Saturday bike. Roughly 60 to 80 distinct athletes train with us each week.
Is Run and Chill a registered German club (Verein)?+
No. Run and Chill is an independent, informal multi-sport community, not a registered Verein. It is organized as a community-run group with rotating session leads. The legal contact is Mirthe van Veen in Munich (see the Impressum).
When was Run and Chill founded?+
September 2024 in Munich. The club has grown every month since.

Cool events are our specialty.

We're a multi-sport community in Munich, 60 to 80 athletes who keep showing up every week since 2024. We don't sell impressions, we build moments your brand actually shows up inside: Munich Marathon takeovers, Tirol Training Camp weekends, 24-hour race activations, the kind of thing people remember and post about on their own. Less "logo on a banner", more "the brand that genuinely cared about us". If you want real connection with real people and a story worth telling, let's build something genuinely cool.
